We focus on well researched learning methodologies for holistic development of the children. Our highly trained teachers provide personal attention to each children. We do this by keeping low number of students’ ratio per teacher. A typical day starts with circle time followed with play-based activities. We expose children to language and engage them in creative activities. We teach eating etiquette in daily recess period. The day ends with audio visual or practical work session.

FOCUSES ON DEVELOPMENTAL SKILLS OF A CHILD

Jumpyard Playschool gives great importance to developmental areas of children. Jumpyard Playschool values each child as unique individual. Children of young age need exposure to various sensors to be aware about world around them.

We adopt well researched learning methodologies based on following child development foundations.

SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL LEARNING (SEL)- It involves developing the ability to understand and manage our emotions, establish positive relationships, develop empathy for others, set and achieve goals and feel good about ourselves.

COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT (CDD)- It includes gaining the skills to understand and to express thoughts, feelings, and information.

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT AND MOTOR SKILLS (PDM)- It involves developing control over the body, particularly muscles and physical coordination. The activities that are chosen fall into four main categories: care of self, control of movement, care of the environment, and grace and courtesy.

SENSORY INTEGRATIONS (SI)- It involves training children to learn to use all their senses together like tactile (touch), visual, olfactory(smell), gustatory (taste), auditory (hearing)

APPROACHES TO PLAY AND LEARNING (APL)/ Behavioral Development and Executive Functioning Skills - It refers to the skills and behaviors that children use to engage in learning. It incorporates emotional, behavioral, and cognitive self-regulation as well as initiative, curiosity, and creativity.

COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT (CD)/ General Knowledge and Cultural Explorations- It provide children an opportunity to explore their curiosity of different and worldly ideas. (Literacy, Math, Science, Social Studies, Music and Arts)

JUMPYARD Playschool Childcare Centre provides STEAM Learning Opportunities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math). This is a space (it’s more than a space--It's a mindset) for students to act on their own curiosities, learn independently and in small groups, and feel a sense of ownership, It’s a welcoming space accessible to learners where students come to experiment, invent, try, fail, and try again. It’s often colorful and full of different manipulative, technology, and tools to prepare students with the skills needed to be successful in a 21st-century workforce.
